Oly

Greenwing Macaw

Oly showcases many talents.  She and her "sister" Jesse formed The Parrot Lady first in 2001 when Rainforest Cafe ended their outreach program.  They have grown with the program learning all kinds of new behavior with Oly Flying over audiences, showcasing adaptions of being a parrot, talking and so much more!  Hatched in 1999.

Chloe

Blue Crowned Conure

Chloe is an amazing bird with a lot of power in a small body and she doesn't let her cone or her missing leg stop her! Watch her take massive loops around the audience, showcase recycling, smart shopping and more.

Stella and Luna

Nanday Conures

Stella and Luna are twins, but not.  They are two individuals hatched in the same clutch at the same time.  Hatching during the pandemic, they have offered an amazing, new view on parrot dynamics.  Watch as they learn more and more each year as fully fledged babies from day one.  They only attend indoor settings.  Hatched in 2020.

Sonny B

Solomon Island Eclectus Parrot

Sonny B is one of the few parrots that actually allows guests to pet him- he's been pet by hundreds of people across the country! You can tell Sonny B is a male Eclectus because of his green plumage. Sonny is also recognizable by his bright "candy-corn" orange beak, which he uses to give gentle kisses. Hatched in 2008.

Sunny D

Sun Conure

Sunny D originally encountered Flight Club when we rescued him from a fly-off in Auburn in 2022. He officially joined our Ambassador crew in 2024, when he was in need of a new home. He is affectionately known as "the house parrot" for his golden doodle energy and willingness to sit on your shoulder and cuddle all day long! Hatched approximately in 2020.

Bo.jpg

Bo

Black-Capped Caique

Bo is the "anchor bird," the metaphorical glue that binds his besties, Stella, Luna, and Chloe, together. Bo was born with a bad wing and is missing an eye, so he doesn't fly. Instead, he hops around adorably, and he even knows how to roll over! Hatched in 2009.

Echo

Congo African Grey

Echo is a one-in-a-million bird who will let guests hold her upside-down on her back like a baby! This is a specially trained skill that requires a lot of trust on Echo's part; giving up her ability to fly away. Echo's feathers aren't actually gray, they're made of a combination between red and blue pigments that human eyes percieve as gray. Purple + blue = purple, so Echo says she's a "purple bird!" Hatched in 1998.

Peppy

Patagonian Parrot

Peppy's species of parrot, the Patagonian, AKA the Burrowing Parrot, is native to a small area at the bottom of South America, where Argentina and Chile meet, but Peppy was born and raised right here in Washington State. They're unique because these parrots burrow into cliffs and rocks, rather than building nests in trees. Patagonians are difficult to breed in the US, making Peppy an uncommon ambassador. Hatched in 1992, Peppy is also our oldest ambassador.

Pepper

Umbrella Cockatoo

Pepper belongs to Jesse and Adrianna, the humans, and is the cuddliest, talkative, goofiest parrot. Catch him at our photobooth! Hatched in 2010.

Quetzal

Blue-Throated Macaw

Quetzal is a rare and endangered species of macaw; at one point, there were only 75 of these birds left in the wild. There are presently over 500 of these birds in the wild, due to human conservation efforts. Quetzal came to Flight Club from an abusive situation, where he acquired two broken wings and a host of behavioral challenges. He's been hard at work over the last few years learning how to be around humans so he can be a safe and effective ambassador for our program! Hatched in 2019.
